Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using the www.perfecttables.co.uk website (the “Service”) operated by Perfect Tables Ltd (“us”, “we”, or “our”).

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Ordering & Contract Formation

  • Order Acceptance: All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • Contract Formation: A legally binding contract between Perfect Tables Ltd and you is only formed when your order has been dispatched from our warehouse and a shipping confirmation email has been sent. We reserve the right to cancel any order prior to dispatch for reasons including, but not limited to: stock unavailability, errors in product pricing/descriptions, or suspected fraudulent activity.

2. Pricing, Payment & Dispatch

  • All prices listed on the site are in GBP (£).
  • Shipping rates (standard Royal Mail 48 at £2.95, express options, are outlined clearly at checkout and on our Shipping Page.
  • In-stock items ordered before 2:00 PM (Monday–Friday) aim to be dispatched the same working day. Handmade and personalised items are dispatched within 24 hours.

3. Returns, Cancellations & Consumer Rights

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have specific rights regarding returns and cancellations:

Standard Stock Items (Non-Personalised)

  • You have the right to cancel and return standard stock items (e.g., unprinted ribbon rolls, plain favour boxes, craft tools) within 14 days of receiving your delivery.
  • Returned items must be unused, in their original condition, and in original packaging. The customer is responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.

Personalised & Custom-Made Items (EXEMPT FROM RETURNS)

  • Custom & Bespoke Goods: Items that have been personalised, custom-printed, or made to order (such as custom chocolates, bespoke printed ribbons, or personalised favour tags) are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period.
  • We cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges on personalised items for change-of-mind or customer errors (such as typos submitted during order placement). Please review all custom text carefully before placing your order.

Perishable & Edible Goods (Sweets & Chocolates)

  • For hygiene and food safety reasons, edible items (chocolates, sweets, wrapped treats) cannot be returned once the protective seal or packaging has been opened or tampered with.

4. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Orders

  • We make every effort to ensure your items arrive in perfect condition. If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or with a printing error made on our part, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery at our contact email, providing photos of the issue and packaging.
  • Where an error or damage is verified, we will offer a replacement or a full refund.

5. User Accounts & Intellectual Property

  • Accounts: When creating an account, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login password.
  • Intellectual Property: The content, logo, product designs, imagery, and text on this website remain the exclusive property of Perfect Tables Ltd and its licensors. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without prior written permission.

6. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites not owned by Perfect Tables Ltd. We assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service and products are provided without warranties of any kind beyond statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Perfect Tables Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including event cancellation costs) arising from delivery delays by third-party carriers (e.g., Royal Mail).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
